Neil Mundi, MD, FRCS(C) is a fellowship-trained Head & Neck Oncologic and Microvascular Reconstructive surgeon who specializes in the surgical treatment of head and neck cancer, thyroid and parathyroid disorders, salivary gland malignancies, transoral robotic surgery and craniofacial reconstruction utilizing free tissue transfer.

Dr. Mundi graduated with the Alumni Gold Medal in Health Science from the University of Waterloo. He then earned his Medical Degree at the University of Western Ontario. He then completed an intensive, five-year surgical residency in Otolaryngology-Head and Neck Surgery at the University of Western Ontario, leading to board certification by the Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada. Dr. Mundi was then selected to complete a highly coveted Head & Neck Surgery Fellowship at the prestigious Mount Sinai Health System in New York, NY. There, he trained with world-renowned head & neck and developed a unique skill set in the surgical removal of advanced head and neck cancers and the reconstruction of vital structures in order to restore form and function. Following his fellowship training, he achieved board certification by the American Board of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.

Dr. Mundi has numerous scientific publications and presentations within his field of expertise. His research interests include improving quality of life for head and neck cancer patients and the development of novel surgical techniques. He is an active member of the American Head and Neck Society and the Canadian Society of Otolaryngology – Head & Neck Surgery.
