Dr. Panichpisal is a neurologist and neurointerventionist.
She received her medical degree from Chiang Mai University, Thailand, in 2000. To develop a solid foundation of medicine before her neurology training, Dr. Panichpisal did her internal medicine residency at Texas Tech University before proceeding to the State University of New York (SUNY) in Brooklyn for training.
Dr. Panichpisal has extensive experience as a physician for 22 years, a neurologist for 13 years and a neurointerventionist for over six years. Her career at Kings County Hospital and SUNY hospital exposed her to various neurological conditions. She did her stroke fellowship at SUNY Brooklyn and was a faculty there for almost one and a half years. In 2016, Dr. Panichpisal started her neurointerventional career at Aurora St. Luke’s Medical Center in Milwaukee under the leadership of Dr. Amin Kassam, where she has performed various neurointerventional procedures.
She holds several certifications, including neurosonology, neurocritical care, subspecialty Certification in neuroendovascular surgery, and focused practice in CNS endovascular surgery certification. As a prolific researcher and writer, Dr. Panichpisal has authored and co-authored over 20 medical papers and presented over 30 conference papers.
